KALLAROO RETREAT
THE BRIEF
The dated materials and layout of this Kallaroo homes’ Ensuite and Kitchen needed updating. The homeowners wanted to create elegant and modern spaces that oozed style and sophistication to push this home into the next century.
THE PROJECT
In the Kitchen the main objective was to lighten the colour palette and open the space to the adjacent lounge room. The homeowners wanted to flood the home with natural light as it had felt dark and contained. Quality materials were important for this avid cook with room for the whole family including the young grandkids. The Ensuite was also renovated, whilst keeping the existing layout and partial cabinetry in place.
THE OUTCOME
In the Kitchen, we spared no expense. High quality materials such as natural timber veneer, quartzite stone, 2Pac lacquer as well as flush electrical points and integrated appliances. The Falcon freestanding cooker was a central piece for this avid cook.
The Ensuite cabinetry received complimentary materials with quartzite bench tops, European tapware and face level storage. Not forgetting a new dedicated area for linen and towel storage. The walk-in shower is the showstopper with luxury rectangular mosaics leading you into the room and lifting your eye to the sky through the new generous skylight.
